For some, growing old is a happy time. Retirement, grandchildren, more time in the garden: in fact, more time for everything.
For others, growing old is more troublesome. This is usually due to health problems that have developed along the way. Sometimes these problems are treatable, and sometimes they aren’t.
But one thing’s for sure: dementia is right up there with the worst of them.
Everyone knows someone who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, or who has passed away while battling it.
At present, there’s no cure for Alzheimer’s. There are medications that can slow the progression of the disease, but in the end, Alzheimer’s wins out.
Which is why prevention is so important.
What if preventing Alzheimer’s were as simple as eating one simple food everyday, or even just a few times a week?
A food that’s in every supermarket and costs a few dollars?
Well, it IS that simple.
(And if everyone knew it, the companies making Alzheimer’s drugs would have a LOT less business).
