Most of us will have known someone who has had a stroke.
Which means most of us to know how devastating it can be.
Not just to the person themselves, but to their family, friends and most aspects of their normal life.
But what is a ‘mini-stroke’?
And how can you tell the difference?
As you probably know, a stroke occurs when your brain is suddenly starved of oxygen due to its blood supply being cut off.
This can result in a serious loss of brain function, motor control or even death.
A mini-stroke, however, is slightly different – but the cause is the same. The problem is that they’re a lot more difficult to detect.
