You can keep your memory strong by using all five senses to help you remember tasks and learn new things. In addition to visualizing an object or event, imagine how it would smell, taste and feel.

Example: To remember to bring dessert to an event, imagine eating it—with all the sensations—earlier in the day.

Also: Relax-memory gets overwhelmed when the body is stressed. And: If you cannot remember someone's name, try to recall where you were, or with whom, when you last saw the person, and the name may come to you.
