Diabetes sucks.

There, we said it.

It sucks for a bunch of reasons.

There’s the fact that your body is sick.

There are all the complications you’re likely to face: Cardiovascular disease, nerve damage, kidney damage, eye damage, foot problems, skin conditions, hearing problems…

(We could go on, but we won’t. We know that you know this.)

And there’s another thing that REALLY sucks.

Sticking yourself with a needle every day is right up there with your LEAST favorite things in the world.

Like wet socks on a cold day. Or spiders in the shower.

Well, we’re about to make your day.

You can forget the needles. Forget the finger-sticks.

Forget having to nip out of the room a couple of times a day to get out your kit and do the deed.

There’s a whole new way to measure your blood sugar.

That’s right. No more pricking and poking. No more bloodied bandaids.

No more pain.

This new kid on the blood sugar-measuring block is called the FreeStyle Libre Flash Glucose Monitoring System.

Some mouthful, huh? Let’s call it the FreeStyle Libre for short.

This nifty little device was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) just last year, so it’s still relatively new.

Keeping on top of your blood sugar is super important.

You know that.

But fingersticks are a really crappy way to do it.

The FreeStyle Libre is so simple, so painless and so GOOD that you can do it with your eyes closed.

(We don’t recommend that, though.)

Wanna know how it works?
