Curry vs. Skin Cancer

In a lab study of human cells, curcumin (the I compound that makes curry yellow) was shown to interfere with the development of melanoma cells. Past studies have shown that people who eat curry in abundance have lower rates of lung, colon, prostate and breast cancers.

Theory: Curcumin curbs inflammation, a risk factor for cancer.
Self-defense: Eat a half tablespoon of curry daily.
