Best Way to Ease Allergies
Breakfast in bed may help alleviate allergy symptoms. People who have allergies are sensitive to temperature changes. That's why they cough and sneeze when they leave a warm bed. Drinking hot tea in bed warms the body and prevents this reaction. Caffeinated or decaffeinated tea increases the speed of nasal cilia, tiny hairs in the mucus membranes, to rid the nose of allergy-triggering dust that has accumulated during sleep.
Helpful: Fill a thermos with hot tea at night and drink a cup in the morning before getting out of bed.
