Antibiotics Risk for Acne Sufferers
Acne sufferers who use antibiotics are more likely to get upper-respiratory tract infections than those who don't use antibiotics.
Recent finding: Patients who use oral or topical antibiotics, such as any of the tetracyclines, for more than six weeks at a time to treat acne have about twice the risk of developing an upper-respiratory tract infection, compared with those who don't take antibiotics
